ELECTRO TECHNICAL OFFICER (ETO) COURSE

ETO training course will help eligible candidates become Electrical Officers aboard merchant navy ships. Electrical Officers are responsible for maintaining and supervising all the electrical and electronic equipment present in a ship

ETO course is a pre sea training course. 6 months of sea service after course completion will help you earn the ETO certification.

Age limit

Upper age limit is 35 years. Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age.

Educational Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication/Communication/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Candidate must also have completed 10+2 Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects.

Medical Fitness

Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms of DGS, with eyesight 6/6 in both the eyes, and with no colour blindness.
